ปัจจุบัน กทม.มีโรงเรียนฝึกอาชีพประเวศมีโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ออกแบบตามหลัก Universal Design ซึ่งรองรับคนพิการ และโรงเรียนฝึกอาชีพหนองจอกที่มีโครงสร้างพื้นฐานรองรับคนพิการและเป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้ทักษะอาชีพของคนพิการโดยเฉพาะ อย่างไรก็ดีการพัฒนาเพียง 2 ศูนย์อาจจะยังไม่มีความเพียงพอและเข้าถึงได้ยากสำหรับคนพิการทั่วทั้งกรุงเทพฯ 

ดังนั้น กทม.จะผลักดันให้โรงเรียนฝึกอาชีพและศูนย์ฝึกอาชีพ ของ กทม.

  - พัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานตามมาตรฐาน Universal Design ให้รองรับทุกคน

  - พัฒนาหลักสูตรที่รองรับและเหมาะสมสำหรับคนพิการเพิ่มเติม เพื่อให้เกิดเป็นอาชีพ สร้างรายได้แก่คนพิการอย่างยั่งยืน

Details

BMA now plans to develop an infrastructure project in Prawet Vocational Training School to accommodate people with disabilities and to be their vocational skills learning center. However, the development of only one center may be insufficient and difficult for people with disabilities from all over Bangkok to access.

BMA will then push for vocational training schools and centers in several districts to develop their infrastructure and courses for people with disabilities for more accessibility and opportunities for more diverse skills development.
